Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) is pleased to recognize the academic achievements of the first-year class upon admission to the university with over $7 million designated for entrance scholarship support.

Guaranteed and renewable scholarships

For students admitted for 2026-2027

If you are a student attending a Canadian secondary school with a final average of 86% and higher and meet the terms and conditions for scholarship, you are guaranteed a renewable entrance scholarship according to the following values.

Terms and conditions

To be eligible for consideration for the guaranteed and renewable scholarships, you must:

• Be currently enrolled full-time in a Canadian secondary school (minimum of 3 Ontario grade 12 U/M courses or Canadian provincial equivalent within the 2025-2026 regular school year
• Have been continuously enrolled full-time (no gaps in full-time attendance prior to the 2025-2026 regular school year)
• Be enrolling in a post-secondary institution for the first time
• Have submitted the correct and complete application for admission to the program for which the scholarship is being granted by September 1, 2026
• Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, protected persons in Canada and international students are eligible for this award

When to apply

The application for fall 2026 awards will open on AwardSpring on November 1, 2025 and the deadline to apply is February 1, 2026.

Please note: Applications will not be accepted past the deadline date under any circumstances (including technical difficulties).
