About Lakeland College
Lakeland College is a board-governed public college operating under the authority of the Post Secondary Learning Act of Alberta. Through a unique partnership agreement between the Alberta and Saskatchewan governments, Lakeland College is Canada's only interprovincial college serving both Alberta and Saskatchewan residents.

Lakeland College offers full-time, part-time and continuing education programs in environmental sciences, tourism, fire and emergency services, health and human services, trades and technology, business, academic upgrading, university studies, agricultural sciences, interior design technology and performing arts.

The college also is home to many community use facilities including conference services, recreation facilities and theatres on the Vermilion and Lloydminster campuses as well as a bull and heifer test station on the Vermilion campus.

The Vermilion campus also features a farm with dairy, swine, sheep and beef operations that are all part of the living laboratory for agricultural students. The crop technology students operate 800-acre Student Managed Farm. Lakeland College is also the centre for Alberta's pesticides applicator certification program.
